"Working together towards a common goal: PNPA Cadets assist in relief operations"

“Alone, we can do little, but together, we can do so much.”-Helen Keller.
On this day, we rendered assistance and participated in hauling relief goods at the seaport in Zamboanga City. The activity involved agencies helping one another transfer those goods from the Philippine Navy ship. It was the production of Family Food Packs (FFPs) in preparation for responding to Typhoon Jolina.
With the assistance of several government organizations, including the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and others, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) facilitated the transfer of humanitarian goods from a Philippine Navy vessel BRP TARLAC (LD601) to the supply trucks.
Our Regional Director, PRO9 PBGen Neil B Alinsañgan, spearheaded the charge with his Command Group for the Philippine National Police Participation. We are very much willing to offer our assistance in the activity. It makes us happier seeing our leaders joining the activity with us.
It is an excellent opportunity to be exposed to the good practice of interoperability between government service agencies. Various organizations to which we may belong. However, serving the Filipino people is the only thing we have in common. Even though we all wear different colored uniforms, we are all connected by the same flag—the red, white, blue, and yellow banner!
As a cadet of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), this experience taught me the importance of collaboration and cooperation between government agencies. We need to work together to achieve a common goal. This experience has also taught me the importance of being flexible and adaptive to different situations. We must adjust to the changing environment and work with others to achieve our goals. [1][2]
Life is indeed beautiful. Tulong tulong tayo!
