Paying tribute to the heroism of PCI Ryan B Pabalinas and PCI Gednat G Tabdi: Reflections from PNPA

PNPA cadets of Masidtalak Class of 2023 paid respect to our late heroes, PCI Ryan B Pabalinas and PCI Gednat G Tabdi, alums of the Philippine National Police Academy at Forest Lake Phase, Brgy. Tumaga, Zamboanga City.
The heroism of SAF 44 will be forever in the books of our country's history. Like generations of warrior heroes, SAF 44 gave everything they had, not for glory or recognition, but for something greater than themselves. The least we can do is remember their ultimate sacrifices.

With flowers, candles, and a standing salute—the pinnacle of military decorum—we paid tribute to them. There was a brief moment of stillness. It was enlightening to be here, even for a brief time. We got some time to think about and reflect on our chosen profession.

The greatest goal of a police officer's life is to serve and protect, and PCI Pabilinas and PCI Tabdi will always inspire cadets. We will always have the same sense of patriotism that drove them to battle. The PNPA Masidtalak Class of 2023 will symbolize optimism, carrying our unwavering love for our fellow citizens. We will continue to chant and uphold the sentiments of our national anthem, "We shall fight, live, and die until we see all the blessings of democracy!" [1][2]
As cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy, we can learn valuable lessons from the heroism of PCI Pabalinas and PCI Tabdi. They have shown us that true courage and dedication to one's country are not measured by the number of medals or awards one has received but by the willingness to sacrifice one's life for the greater good. We should strive to emulate their example and be willing to put our lives on the line for the safety and security of our fellow citizens.
